About Us

Bike the UK for MS is on a mission to address the challenges of those affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS), raises public awareness and funds research for a cure. MS is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves). The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another.

We achieve this by funding projects including;
- Relief of symptoms, such as exercise classes, alleviating the unpredictable and often disabling effects of MS
- Home modifications and mobility grants, to maintain independence
- Social events to promote health and mental well being of those living with MS, their carers and their families
- Research towards a cure.
- Raising awareness of MS as we travel the country. Many of our student participants have no connection to MS, so meeting MS groups on route provides a true sense of purpose to the challenge and helps to develop their understanding of the disease.
